NSO is a servant agency seeking to transform lives through GBGM (General Board of Global Ministries) connectional system community partners. NSO is also a United Way Agency and a National Mission Institution.

You will see when you read through this website that there are many more people coming to us for help with their housing, monetary needs, and healthcare than we can help. We must turn away literally thousands of people from our monetary assistance program as at the present time, we can only serve less than 200 due to a lack of funding.

Additionally, our Transitional Housing Programs have a long waiting list of those desperately needing housing. Most of these are homeless families and you, expectant mothers.

Even our Permanent Supportive Housing for the mentally ill has an extremely long waiting list. So long, that many give up hope of ever being admitted to our programs.

You can help these people; you can help us serve more people.

We invite you to come, visit us and see our programs.  You will then be able to experience first hand those people we help; giving them home, love, skills, and assistance.
