Palo Duro Apartments is a 22 efficiency apartments designed as permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless, mentally ill adults.

This important program serves the needs of over thirty chronically homeless, mentally ill adults per year.

Last year, NSO received the Apex award from the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency for Excellence in Management for Special Needs Housing.

The Palo Duro apartments consist of twenty-two efficiency apartments. All have new carpeting, paint, appliances - and more! A central common area services all the residents. In this area, residents can enjoy special activities, lifeskill programs, life-enhancement programs, and even parties. As part of the program, residents are taken on special outings to enhance the quality of their life and life skills.

Palo Duro is conveniently located near one of Oklahoma City’s mental health providers. In this way, we can even more fully serve our clients by providing them with the care they need to help them maintain their highest level of functioning. NSO partner with these and other agencies and their generous volunteers. Additionally, NSO has volunteers who give of their time.
